First Home Ready (fhssplanner.com.au) is operated by Derick Tran trading as First Home Ready. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
This policy applies to Australian users and is written in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
What we collect
We collect only what's necessary to provide the service:
- Account information: Your email address and optional name when you create an account
- Calculator inputs: Income, contribution amounts, state, and property details you enter into the calculator — used only to show you results
- Usage data: Pages visited, actions taken, and session recordings via PostHog analytics — used to improve the product
- Payment information: If you upgrade to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as tax file numbers, super fund account details, or government identity documents.
How we use your data
- To provide the calculator and savings tracker features
- To send you EOFY reminders and product updates if you have opted in
- To understand how people use the site so we can improve it
- To process payments if applicable
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as described below.

PostHog is configured to not capture dollar amounts, specific income values, or other sensitive financial inputs. Only anonymised usage patterns are recorded.
Data storage and security
Your account data is stored in Supabase's Sydney (ap-southeast-2) region, keeping your data within Australia. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access is restricted by row-level security — users can only access their own data.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data

To delete your account, you can also do so directly from your account settings.
Cookies
We use cookies to maintain your login session and for analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect how the site functions.
